Greatwood Project is a grassroots community-based nonprofit dedicated to preserve and enhance the legacy and beauty of the Goddard College campus in its next iteration.
Greatwood Project will be open to partnerships with host towns, community groups, native communities, nonprofit and for-profit organizations to realign the campus resources for economic, housing, community and cultural development, educational innovation, and historic preservation. The founding Board of Stewards of Greatwood Project is comprised of local community members with close ties to Goddard College, as well as Founding Partners who have made it possible to purchase the property and will bring mission-aligned activity to the Project. Founding Board members are Celina Barton, Brian Benninghoff, Susan Benninghoff, Eileen Doohan, Lucinda Garthwaite, Kris Gruen, Christopher Pratt, and Leesa Stewart. Greatwood Project will urgently establish clear and transparent operating processes in order to deliver equitable partnerships for the broader regional community. The Board will regularly update the community about these processes in the coming months. Greatwood Project anticipates completing the purchase fall 2024, pending regular real estate transaction processes. Assuming the transaction is completed, Greatwood Project looks forward to working with existing tenants. |
